During the labour day, hubby and some of my family members drop by in Medan for a visit (thanxs to AirAsia now everybody can fly..).
Surprisingly 1 of May was not a public holiday in Indonesia but i'm taking a personal holiday from writing reports anyway. We went to the Masjid Raya in Medan where i found out that Sultan Deli was somehow related to Raja Chulan from Perak. Apparently 1 of Rj. Chulan princes had married a royalties in Medan. by the way the Manohara news with Kelantan Royalties is still big here so we were asked a lot about the issues.
SHOPPING in Medan is heavenly coz everything is cheap..but be very careful to bargain till half of the price mention, we spend more than 2 million each..he :) rupiah la.
Then, Pak Karyudi offer to belanja makan to all my family members..Makasih ya Pak..sedap mknnya mungkin sbb free kut :)
On the second day we travel to Lake Toba and charter the whole ferry to ourself..very nice.
On the 4th of May, I travel to Palembang for the 2nd part of my training programme. Pak Thomas here i come...apparently there were no direct flight from Medan to Palembang so i had to transit in jakarta then proceed Palembang. Special rivew on my training in Palembang will be features at the end of this trip key...
